Sparrows
Sparrows are city street birds as well as city garden birds. Because sparrows are small they can move
quickly in and out through outdoor tables and chairs where people sit eating food. Here they peck up crumbs of food from the ground.
Sparrows visit city gardens in small flocks, eating food scraps left out for them on bird tables or on grass.
They make nests in shrubby trees and under safe, sheltered ledges.
