The first fruit fly was found in Prime Road, Grey Lynn.

The fruit fly can cause your fruit and veggies to turn
into a soft mushy mess

Fruit flies attack pears, passionfruit, fejoa, grapes,
guava, blackberry and much more.

going to stop it?
By setting traps, spraying plants to stop them, disposing
of fruit and vegetable scraps carefully, making sure fruit stays in the Grey
Lynn area so they don't spread.
